"Through NBTN, I was assigned Mark Zander, at 97.9 FM, the Loop, as my mentor. I was able to work with Mr. Zander through Chapter 4 of the program. During this time, Mr. Zander provided a personal recommendation for an opening at WKQX Q1OI and WLUP 97.9, the Loop. Because of his recommendation, I was given the opportunity to work for the summer. This entry level position has provided me with further insight into the inner workings of promotions, marketing, event management and administrative duties.
